Christmas at Winco Stamping

The Christmas Season reached a crescendo here last Wednesday afternoon as we all gathered together to enjoy a great Christmas meal in the lunchroom. Before we headed for the buffet line our President Scott Wendelburg spoke a few words on how our business performed in 2015, team-work, getting to know each other more, and what we will strive to do in 2016 through our Vision and Mission and Value statements.

A great meal was then served up including fruits, veggies, cheese and crackers, turkey, roast beef, ham, meat-balls and chicken wings and several varieties of festive cupcakes!

Afterwards many of our women who work in the plant hosted a gift exchange.

After many hugs and handshakes most of us headed home to start our end of year shut-down.

See you January 4th, 2016!

Winco Stamping Embraces Manufacturing Month

As we wrap up manufacturing month in Wisconsin, we are looking forward to the next several months as we plan for continued growth at Winco Stamping. It has been an exciting time at Winco Stamping even before "Manufacturing Month" kicked off.

In September we added a new shear which has added additional capacity to our manufacturing process. We were honored to have Precision Metalforming President Bill Gaskin visit us for a tour and a few days later we hosted our first National Sales meeting in our 67 years of business.

Winco Stamping hosted our manufacturing reps from all over the country for a very in-depth tour with a lot of hands learning experiences in the plant, helping them to further communicate the message of ways we are able to serve our customers.

One key area we focused on during the tour was our expanded capabilities in the assembly of parts using captive fasteners, orbital riveting and kitting to help reduce production and assembly costs for many of our customers. We also discussed the addition of CD Stud welding which will be in production very soon.

In October we welcomed three customers to our Menomonee Falls facility. After each tour we were excited to hear how much they enjoyed and learned from the tour as well as how impressed they were with our facility and our people. Those are always proud moments for any manufacturer.

In all Winco Stamping had a great "manufacturing month".
We shipped approximately 1.1 million pieces fulfilling approximately 1550 unique part number orders. All of this thanks to our great customer base and fantastic team members utilizing our innovative technologies and state-of-the-art facilities.

How can we help you in this month of manufacturing and beyond?
